myrights.nyc / research surface

Public records, connected carefully.

The myrights API makes fragmented NYC police-accountability data easier to inspect, cite, and reuse. It preserves source meaning, provenance, time boundaries, and uncertainty.

Identifiers

Use graph_entity_id for myrights graph references. Source-native public identifiers remain available when published by the official source and retain that source's meaning. The graph key does not conceal or replace them.

What a link means

A candidate is not a confirmed identity. A corroborated inference is an evidence-backed public-record linkage, not a government crosswalk. A blocked or unresolved row is an explicit limit. The API does not perform face matching or make misconduct findings.
